Abstract

Background: Cancer is one of the causes of death in the world. Colorectal cancer is the third-highest cause of death in the world, reaching 1.23 million deaths annually. Colorectal Cancer is a violence that occurs in the colon and rectum organs, which require early detection, treatment and therapy for the sufferer. Method: The design of research used is the study of libraries from various sources. The articles are collected using search engines like PubMed, Google Schoolar, Science Direct, ProQuest and Elsevier. The article used in the study was published in 2011-2019. Results: Based on the collected articles obtained the results that the diet, age, tumor and lifestyle history have a large distribution in the incidence of colorectal cancer. Early detection needs to be done to prevent the increasing of cancer experienced, such as routine health screening every 6 months, as well as doing a healthy lifestyle, including regulating the diet, increasing physical activity, doing a controlled diets and eating-foods high in fiber. Conclusion: Colorectal cancer is a complex disease because it has a fairly high mortality rate, but the incidence of the disease can be prevented by knowing early and avoiding some risk factors.
